Three areas of expertise, one solution: working together on sustainability at waste processor Omrin

Omrin is a leading waste and raw materials processor that actively contributes to a sustainable and circular society. Omrin processes residual waste into biogas and new raw materials. It currently produces 19 million m3 green gas a year. The aim is to expand production to 23 million m3 a year. However, its current installation cannot handle the additional power demand. The challenge: increase the power supply and integrate new systems in the ongoing process. Omrin contracted its trusted partner Actemium . Actemium proposed involving Omexom and Aqualectra, resulting in a single point of contact and three areas of expertise. Actemium provided the low-voltage cabling: the routes and connections between the transformer, distribution board and the field. Aqualectra designed and built a custom low-voltage distribution board and delivered it on site. Omexom handled the entire medium-voltage scope, including the installation of a new transformer.
