Three VINCI Energies Netherlands BUs joined forces to deliver a groundbreaking 1500 VDC fast charging solution for Heliox/Siemens eMobility Charging’s Hypobatt project. The objective of this project was to develop a modular, fast and easy-to-deploy multi-megawatt charging system, enabling vessels to be charged within a very short time after berthing. This fast-charging station improves energy efficiency, increases charger availability, extends battery lifetime and reduces CO² emissions.

The BUs collaborated to build a fully integrated skid solution, including power distribution with a connection capacity of 3 MVA, conversion from AC to DC, an auxiliary transformer and space for a Ring Main Unit. All components were mounted on a 20-ft flatbed container frame, specially designed for flexibility and efficiency. This is an excellent example of how we collaborate to transform complex technical challenges into innovative and environmentally friendly solutions.
