Hoogvliet is a supermarket chain with 6,000 employees in the provinces Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland, Utrecht and Gelderland. It is almost fully mechanised and automated distribution centre supplies more than 10,000 items to its 70 shops. To make distribution as smart as possible, Hoogvliet produces more than 700,000 forecasts a day based on data from a SAP data platform.
