VINCI Energies expands mechatronics knowledge through acquisition of Amecha

Today, VINCI Energies announced that it has acquired technical service provider Amecha in Helmond as of July 1, 2021. Through this acquisition, it strengthens its mechatronics and robotics knowledge and expertise within the Industry business line.

Amecha has been designing, building and optimising machines and equipment for the manufacturing industry since 2000. Amecha is a technical service provider with broad and high-quality knowledge and experience in the field of mechanics, automation, software, mechatronics and robotics.

Hans van Bragt, CEO Amecha: ‘This step provides us with the opportunity to grow with our expertise in other industrial segments and offers our engineers ample opportunities for future growth’.

Amecha’s specialist expertise focuses on customised solutions to complex problems. Amecha does this by developing the most ideal mechatronic solutions for specific machines and by being involved in the construction, testing and commissioning of those machines. In this way, the optimisation and efficiency improvements are already incorporated in the design of the machines.

In recent years, Amecha and Actemium, the VINCI Energies brand for industrial solutions, have already worked together on customer assignments. In addition to their complementary expertise, their way of working was also a perfect match. A win-win on both counts,’ says Eric Cissen, Director at Actemium.

This acquisition is fully in line with the VINCI Energies strategy to strengthen its industrial portfolio with engineering knowledge. Amecha will continue to trade under its own name.

Jos van Uden, Managing Director of VINCI Energies: “Robotics and mechatronics solutions have been on the rise in recent years. The arrival of Amecha and its engineers in our organisation will allow us to serve our customers even better in the field of industrial automation’.
