In order to realise the energy transition we need new talents and expertise. So, a few years ago, Omexom started the Omexom Institute – a training, demonstration, and innovation network for the energy sector. In this international training and education network, which has a central place in our network, businesses and individuals have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and skills.

Omexom Institute provides participants with the opportunity to increase and reinforce their knowledge and skills in the area of high voltage with theory lessons, e-learning, virtual reality, and practical lessons in a real high-voltage station. Participants can practise in a safe environment. Experienced participants can update their knowledge or be trained in new innovations and developments. Omexom Institute works together with training institutes in the region to connect theory and practice. By now around 450 people, from inside and outside our organisation, have attended a training or course at the Omexom Institute in the Netherlands.

Omexom Institute inspires people to turn their ideas into reality and to contribute to achieving the targets of the energy transition. The approach fits the ambition of Omexom to be the ultimate centre of expertise and the preferred partner in the energy transition.
