Qblox, a growing technological scale-up, makes scalable qubit control electronics for quantum computers in laboratories across the world. Every aspect of these quantum computing systems has to be effective, reliable, modular, and scalable to facilitate practical applications.
The task of Qblox was to supply scalable control units with the flexibility to support laboratories that use different quantities and types of qubits. A qubit is a unit that forms the basis of quantum computing and ensures these computers are lightning fast.
There was no ready-made system housing that fitted their solution. Koning & Hartman and nVent SCHROFF designed semi-modified mechanical housing that met the specifications. The Qblox system is now designed, from a functional and aesthetic point of view, to scale up with demand and the number of qubits. This solution provides Qblox with the mechanical support it needs to grow with its clients.
